Women’s Health Care Center, Inc. is a nonprofit women’s health organization founded in 2008 by Dr. Sherry Tenison, DNP, MSW, WHNP-BC. Dr. Tenison also owns and operates a for-profit women’s health center in Garland, Texas, where she has provided care for over 17 years.

Dr. Tenison is deeply passionate about serving women and advancing access to quality healthcare. She received her clinical training at UT Southwestern Medical School in 1996 and later joined their team, providing care to women across several affiliated clinics. Her extensive experience also includes serving at the University of Texas at Arlington Women’s Center, the South Dallas Peabody AIDS Clinic, the Martin Luther King Women’s Center, and working in private practice alongside highly respected OB/GYN physicians before establishing her own practice.
